Asking him out

“Maybe it won’t work out, but maybe seeing if it does will be the best adventure ever.”

Last night my friends and I went to Beauty and Essex to celebrate my best friends birthday. As we took our seats I noticed this table of very attractive men. One in particular really sparked my attention. I told everyone at the table and they convinced me to make a move. As the group of men made their final payments and were getting up to leave, I grabbed a piece of paper and put my name and number on it. The group stood up and started to walk past our table. I stood up, stopped the guy and said: “Hey I think your really attractive and I wanted to give you my number.” He was super nice and took the piece of paper and went along with his friends. Later in the evening, he came back over to our table to talk to me.

The moral of the story is, whether he actually texts me or not, is to be brave and go for what you want. Asking someone out or approaching someone is extremely intimidating (TRUST ME). In today’s society people are so terrified to approach one another, they would rather just “swipe right” or avoid it completely. I think its so important to break the norm and actually interact with one another. There are so many times when I wish I would have just gone up and said hello in the past.

I’m not going to let that terrify me anymore and I challenge you all to do the same.
